Welcome baby Anna!

Sophie's First Spring

I love the little firsts. Here is one of them. It was such a warm day outside so I decided to take some pictures of Sophie outside on the grass. I was wondering how would she react. She was very curious but happy. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our photo shoot (it lasted about 10 minutes) because I started breaking into a rush (allergic to grass). But considering all the pain and misery, itchy arms and legs and very drowsy allergy medicine, I've gotten pretty cute pictures of my baby, which was totally worth it!

 

Easter

Easter at my house is pretty traditional - dinner, easter egg hunt, matching outfits and tons of pictures. I was very proud of myself this year for putting those together. We always have my sister and her family over which creates more fun and excitement. This year the weather was kind of cold and it was pretty windy, kind of shortens the time for easter egg hunt. I think it took like less than 5 minutes.
It was Sophie's first Easter, I am sure she won't remember it but I will. She had 3 eggs (with money) in her basket and a pink bunny. Overall everything went pretty well.

My baby is 6 moths old!

I can't believe she is 6 months. It is very strange, it feels like I just had her yesterday, but yet she was part of our family from the beginning. She is very happy and very "chill" baby. Even though she is not sleeping through the night yet, she is easy to take care of. She is very curious about things and her looks kill me sometime. She is getting pretty good at seating and we are working on eating solids. She is such a joy in our lives. We feel so blessed having her with us. Love my little girl!!!!

5 months old

This little girl is 5 months old. Even though she is so little and can't talk yet she is so expressive through her eyes. I love her little serious stare. Even though she's got my eyes her look is 100% from her daddy. Love her so much, she makes me happy everyday.

Valentines Day!

This year I don't get to spend time with my valentine but with the whole positive look at things (New Year resolution) I get to spend with 3 valentines instead! I am thinking dinner and a movie and bed time by 8:00pm. Sleep is one comodity I don't have so it sounds perfect!

Getting organized!

I guess that's anorther thing that happens around my house when my husband leaves for a while, I pick up my long abandoned projects and one of them is organizing my studio. Studio - is a realy big word for it, it's more like a shack. It was really an adventure! I bought some flooring (a board) to lay on the floor, that was easy part. Getting it home was not so easy. We succeeded about 70%. We had to strap it with some twine to Karen's van. 1/3 broke off as we were leaving the parking lot. We had to drive about 20 miles per hour, during rash hour. Made a lot of fox happy; it took us almost an hour to get from Provo to Spamish Fork. I am pretty sure I will have to go back and purchase another one, my ADD won't let me keep the broken one. So here are some pix of my shack :)
